Project Background：

The client is a gene engineering innovation and R&D enterprise with a scale of billions, integrating independent research and development, production, marketing, and services. Over the years, the client has maintained a close cooperative relationship with AUSTAR. The STERIS washer used by the client was purchased in 2012, and its functions no longer meet the requirements of the latest regulations. To address this, AUSTAR has provided a comprehensive upgrade and renovation solution based on the client's needs and the current status of the equipment. This solution is not only applicable to the client's existing equipment but also serves as a reference for similar equipment purchased during the same period for upgrade and renovation.

AUSTAR Solutions：

Maintenance and Upgrade (STERIS Fully Automatic Washer Control System)

•  Replaced the PLC and control IO modules of the control system with the latest models.

•  Upgraded The touchscreen to the latest control interface , with Chinese and English translations of the interface.

•  Replaced and reconnected Relays and cables in the control system.

•  Removed the old printer ,Installed a custom control panel and the latest model of thermal printer.

•  Updated files required for the upgrade were provided (User Manuals, Spare Part List, Electrical Schematics, FS, SDS, HDS, etc.).

•  STERIS performed system programming, and the Canadian factory conducted simulation debugging to achieve audit trail functions, viewing and printing of operation reports, alarm records, and data records, meeting data integrity requirements.

•  Dismantled the old control system on-site, installed the new control system, and conducted point testing, functional testing, and cleaning operation tests.

•  Prepare and perform IQ/OQ validation documentation for control system upgrade;

•  Training on system operation and maintenance
